Congratulations to our SpringElation drawing winners: Gloria Weitzman won the Detroit Tigers Game Package and Megan Maxneimer won a Detroit Zoo experience, Breakfast with the Giraffes.
JARC's 12th annual SpringElation at the Detroit Zoo on May 27, 2010 was a huge success! Over 2,000 guests enjoyed sunshine, smiles, great food by Matt Prentice Restaurant Group, music and dancing by StarTrax Entertainment and prizes for solving the Where's JARC's game. Rounding out the evening were terrific raffle prize packages, wildlife exhibits, feeding the polar bears, face painting, crafts, Detroit Tiger's official mascot PAWS, and the Berkley High School jazz band.

JARC is a Farmington Hills, MIchigan-based nonprofit, nonsectarian agency dedicated to enabling people with disabilities to live full, dignified lives in the community, and to providing support and advocacy for their families. JARC operates 20 group homes and a variety of independent living programs for adults, and serves more than 450 families who have a child or adult with a disability who is living at home.
