JARC is a Michigan based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities via group homes, independent living support, and in-home respite care. Founded in 1969 by a small group of parents concerned about the future of their children, JARC is known for high-quality, community-based residential and support programs and has led the way in enriching lives and erasing barriers

Today, JARC serves 120 individuals with developmental disabilities in 45 locations, including 24-hour care in group homes and independent living settings for adults, and respite services within the family home for children, teens and young adults.  JARC strives to provide the highest quality of direct care services tailored to the individual's needs, as well as a wide range of social, recreational and religious opportunities that ensure a full, rich life.
