Direct Support Professionals and Respite Care Workers

JARC is seeking energetic, caring people to work with individuals with disabilities in group homes, individual homes, in family homes and in the community.  Direct Support Professionals and Respite/CLS Workers provide support, interaction and care for people with developmental disabilities of all ages.  The position entails assisting with daily living tasks and personal care,  teaching skills and accompanying the individual on activities in the community.  Seeking full-time, part-time and occasional workers.  A valid Michigan driver’s license and a high school diploma/GED are required.  Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.  Must be available afternoons and weekends.  Pay rate is $10.00/hr with a pay increase after 6 months of continued employment.  [Direct Support Professionals use job code DSP-W, Respite Care Workers use job code RCW-W]
