A Message From JARC's President,

                   Robert Nusbaum . . .

This year JARC celebrates a major birthday.  We are 40 years old, a milestone of which we should be justifiably proud.  Today, as throughout our history, we touch and enhance the lives of thousands of individuals and families with our philosophy of empowering and caring.  I know our JARC heart will continue to beat and grow in the decades ahead, providing the best, creating the best and being the best.

Since our earliest days, we have been an integral part of the Jewish community, listening and responding to needs that families of individuals with disabilities have expressed.  Our services have expanded over the years, incorporating a wide array of programs, including our group homes and various independent living arrangements, respite care, advocacy, Jewish day school inclusion, age-appropriate social groups for children and teens, information and referral services and community education and training.

This is a year to remember the past, celebrate our growth and achievement and look to the future.  Whether you are a service recipient, a volunteer, a donor or a sponsor, I ask you to be involved and ensure that JARC continues to be such a vital resource in the community.  Happy Birthday JARC!
