CHAYA LEAH TINMAN: 2010 ARC DOVE AWARD WINNER FOR INCLUSION LEADERSHIP
We are proud to announce that Chaya Leah Tinman, Coordinator of JARC's School Inclusion Program, was chosen by the Arc of Oakland County to receive its 2010 Dove Award for Inclusion Leadership.
The award recognizes an individual who, through their diligence and dedication, has strived to make inclusive education a reality for students with developmental disabilities in Oakland County. Chaya Leah was instrumental in envisioning and establishing the School Inclusion Program in 1999, and under her leadership, the program has proven that, with the proper supports, a child with a disability can be included in the classroom with his or her peers and be successful.
JARC applauds Chaya Leah's wonderful - and very well-deserved - stellar achievement!
