Rose Stocker Honored as a Mitzvah Hero!
JARC is beaming with pride as one of our most dedicated volunteers, Rose Stocker, was saluted as one of the 2009 Shalom Street Mitzvah Heroes at a program held on October 21.
Rose began volunteering at JARC in 1997 after retiring from her job as an executive secretary and buyer for Marathon Oil Company. At 93 years of age, Rose's professional skills remain razor sharp. She takes tributes, compiles them for the JARC newsletter, maintains a roster of active funds and helps out with a myriad of clerical jobs.
With all her amazing abilities, Rose Stocker is truly one of JARC's most valuable assets!
