Respite Care Workers

JARC is seeking energetic, caring individuals to work with children with special needs in the child's home and community.  Respite Care Workers provide supervision, interaction and care for these children and teenagers in all settings.  The position involve assisting with personal care and daily living tasks as necessary and taking the individuals to activities in the community.  Hours are part-time and flexible.  Must be available afternoons and weekends.  A valid Michigan driver's license and high school diploma or GED are required.  Experience working with children is preferred.  The pay rate is $11.09/hour.  [Job code RCW-W]  

Direct Support Professional
JARC is in need of full and part-time Direct Support Professionals to provide support, assist with personal care and hygiene and help adults with developmental disabilities be involved and integrated in the community.  A valid Michigan driver's license and a high school diploma/GED are required.  The pay rate is $11.09/hour once training is completed. *Also seeking Direct Support Professionals fluent in American Sign Language.   [Job code DSP-W] 

Department of Community Supports Administrative Assistant
JARC seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant.  Responsibilities include coordinating clerical assignments and all general office duties, assisting in the implementation of all departmental events, providing assistance to the Director of Community Supports and Program and Enhanced Services Coordinators.  This is a weekday position that may occasionally require some evening and weekend hours.  Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and a valid Michigan driver's license.  Previous administrative experience required.  [Job code DCS ADMIN-W]
