  • Program and Enhanced Services Coordinator
    JARC is in need of a full-time, high-energy professional to supervise group home managers and independent living staff, as well as work with families and funding sources.  A Bachelor's degree is required; MSW a plus.  Residential and managerial experience is required, preferably in a 24-hour program.  Competitive salary.  (Job code PC-W)

  • Respite Care Workers
    JARC is seeking energetic, caring individuals to work with children with special needs in the child's home and community.  Respite Care Workers provide supervision, interaction and care for these children and teenagers in all settings.  The position involve assisting with personal care and daily living tasks as necessary and taking the individuals to activities in the community.  Hours are part-time and flexible.  Must be available afternoons and weekends.  A valid Michigan driver's license and high school diploma or GED are required.  Experience working with children is preferred.  The pay rate is $11.00/hour.  [Job code RCW-W]  

  • Direct Support Professionals
    JARC is in need of full and part-time Direct Support Professionals to provide support, assist with personal care and hygiene and help adults with developmental disabilities be involved and integrated in the community.  A valid Michigan's driver's license and a high school diploma or GED are required.  The pay rate is $11.00/hour once training is completed.  [Job code DSP-W]

  • Group Home Manager
    JARC is looking for an experienced Group Home Manager to coordinate the care of six people who require 24-hour care and supervision in a group home setting.  Other duties include assisting in developing skills for maximum independence, participating in person-centered planning meetings, scheduling staff and providing on-site supervision of Direct Support Professionals.  Qualified candidates must have a valid Michigan driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, managerial experience and experience with direct care.  Group Home training is preferred.   • Community Guide 
    As part of its Making Community Connections initiative, JARC is seeking a part-time Community Guide to help people with disabilities explore their interests and opportunities for making social connections within the community. A Community Guide is responsible for teaching social skills, seeking out groups and activities of interest to those they are working with, attending club meetings and helping persons served adopt skills to make connections reciprocal.  Schedule is for 20 hours per week.  Must be available weekends.  A valid Michigan driver's license and a high school diploma or GED are required.  Experience required in residential care or with people with disabilities; Management experience is preferred.  The pay rate is $11/hour after training.  [Job Code CG-W]
